Our historical Bagno hammerlock was inspired by an antique Italian shackle from the 19th century. Ours features period-accurate details, but is manufactured from advanced materials.

The Bagno restraint can be seamlessly adjusted with a screw in each wrist. An additional locknut on the screw prevents excessively tight closure.

Once the hammerlock is in place, it is secured by attaching a padlock or a shackle. Once locked in this manner, an additional chain may be attached. The original purpose was to chain up the prisoners in their cells, rather than transporting prisoners. A popular practice at the time was the raising of the arms behind the back; creating, nowadays, in combination with a neck restraint and chain, the ultimate bondage accessory.
