    What exactly is a sling?

     

    A sling is a “love swing” made of leather or textiles. They are usually attached to the ceiling of the room by a chain and often hang from a special support such as a sling frame.     How do I take care of the sling?

     

    A small amount of oil is already applied to the leather during the tanning process, giving it a particularly pleasant appearance and making it more flexible. With use, the sling becomes softer (in contrast to cheap leather or imitation leather, which becomes harder and brittle over the course of time). Some leather grease has to be applied to our leather from time to time and, if necessary, it can be oiled again. This should be done sparingly however, so as to prevent a film of grease building up.
