Packaging:
The Meo Donut Cock Ring comes packaged in a clear, sealed plastic bag with a branded sticker on giving you some basic dimension details. You don’t get a view of the cock ring as it is kept within a black velvet drawstring pouch that contains MEO’s logo on it. The plastic bag has to be torn into to get at and thus is destined for the bin after opening but the supplied pouch is a perfect size for the cock ring and worth holding on to for storage purposes.


The MEO Donut Cock Ring:
The MEO Donut Cock Ring is made from nickel free stainless steel which looks fantastic with it’s polished, unblemished finish and rounded off edges. It is by far the heaviest cock ring that I currently own, weighing in at just short of 200 grams which given it’s 20mm width and 9mm depth is understandable. This particular one has an internal diameter of 50mm which is the second largest but the range also features a couple of smaller sizes including sizes designed to fit around the glans.

In Use:
Having tied my first steel cock ring a few months ago and had a really good experience I was looking forward to trying out another. Taking the Donut Cock ring out of it’s packaging the first thing that was noticeably different was it’s size and weight and while only being 5mm more in diameter its wider and nearly four times as heavy.
With a heavy dose of water based lube I set about getting the cock ring on, so one ball at a time and then my cock and letting it rest at the base of both. Immediately I noticed the weight which I thought would be a little much but to be honest I managed it easily and that additional weight provided a pleasant reminder that it was there as I wore it under my clothes for hours at a time. The additional 5mm that this has over my other one was also welcome as it wasn’t as tight and very comfortable to wear.

During solo play and sex it was always a welcome addition, creating just the right amount of pressure behind my cock and my balls and never feeling hindered by it. Given its larger, wider size it is also visually very striking in my opinion and very noticeable and matched with my cock piercing looks fantastic, If I do say so myself!
Taking it off after use can be a little fiddly but with practice it gets much easier to do and cleaning it is very simple. Antibacterial soap and some sex toy cleaner before leaving to air dry will do just fine but as it’s steel can also go in the dishwasher or a pan of boiling water for 15 minutes or so.

Conclusion:
If you enjoy using cock rings either as a performance enhancer or just something that is visually appealing and have experience with them then I think the MEO Donut Cock Ring is a fantastic pick up for you. I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners given that it takes a bit of practice to get it on and it’s a lot of steel and thus quite heavy which isn’t going to be to everyone’s taste.

As I’ve said previously you do have to be pretty sure about what size you are looking for as steel isn’t going to bend for you to squeeze into. Fortunately MEO does have a helpful size guide on their product page. I’m an average sized guy and find 45mm a little tight but not overly so, the 50mm that I used here was pretty perfect for me both in play and just day to day wear.
