Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)

UN 38.3

This regulation concerns the safe transportation of lithium batteries and accumulators. Products with built-in or external lithium batteries are tested in accordance with this standard to ensure that the batteries do not present a hazard during transportation.

UKCA (United Kingdom Conformity Assessed)

After Brexit, products sold in the UK must bear the UKCA mark. This mark confirms that the product complies with British safety standards and is safe to use.

CE marking

IP protection class (International Protection Marking)

The IP protection classes indicate how well a product is protected against the ingress of foreign bodies such as dust and water. The abbreviation "IP" stands for "Ingress Protection" and is supplemented by two numbers that indicate the degree of protection. The first number describes the protection against solid foreign bodies, e.g. dust or contact. It ranges from 0 (no protection) to 6 (completely dustproof). The second number indicates the protection against water and ranges from 0 (no protection) to 9 (protected against high-pressure water at a certain temperature). For example, protection class IP67 means that the product is fully protected against dust (6) and is also resistant to temporary immersion in water (7). Products with an IPX7 rating would be specifically protected against water, but without any indication of protection against solid foreign bodies. For our customers, the IP protection class therefore indicates whether and how a product is suitable for certain conditions, such as use in wet environments or intensive contact with dust.

Product note	Anal douches, vaginal douches and showers for intimate hygiene should only be used in accordance with basic hygiene and medical precautions. Warnings Materials and/or ingredients	PE Products made of or with polyethylene (PE) are popular in many applications due to their durability, flexibility and versatility. To ensure safe and sustainable handling of these products, a few important points should be noted. Polyethylene is a robust material that is resistant to water and chemicals. However, it should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, as high temperatures can lead to deformation and impair the material properties. PE products should be protected from direct sunlight, as UV radiation can shorten the life of the material. Mild cleaning agents and soft cloths are recommended for cleaning PE products in order to protect the surfaces. Abrasive cleaning agents or rough sponges should be avoided as they can damage the material. Polyethylene is generally recyclable and should be recycled wherever possible. Products or packaging made from PE should be disposed of in accordance with local recycling guidelines. In many regions, they can be disposed of with plastic waste, as long as there are no harmful residues. As polyethylene is a flammable material, it should not be placed near open flames or other heat sources to avoid the risk of fire. Damaged or worn PE products should no longer be used, as safety and functionality may be impaired. PE products are safe for their intended use, but should be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. For sustainable and responsible use, it is important to consider the material properties and dispose of the product properly.
Cleaning and hygiene	Thoroughly clean all products used before and after each use to ensure hygiene. Use suitable cleaning agents as indicated on the outer packaging or in our product description. The manufacturer's care instructions must be observed. It is strongly recommended not to store sex toys made of different materials without protective outer packaging or separately from each other. Different materials such as silicone, rubber, TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), vinyl or latex can react with each other on direct contact. These chemical reactions can lead to discoloration, deformation of the surface or, in the worst case, decomposition of the material. Silicone products should also not be stored unprotected, as they tend to stick to each other or to other materials or change their surface structure. Packaging	To reduce packaging waste and make our products as environmentally friendly as possible, we use reusable and recyclable materials. The products are packaged in bags made of LDPE film (low-density polyethylene) or OPP film (oriented polypropylene), which are known for their high recyclability. In addition, some packaging contains silica gel bags, which are used to absorb moisture and protect the quality of the items. These bags are necessary to optimally protect the product during storage and transportation. Reusable velvet bags are sometimes supplied for later storage of the products, which not only offer a practical storage option, but also help to reduce single-use packaging.
Disposal instructions	Our packaging materials are recyclable and can be disposed of via the local recycling and disposal systems. It is recommended to follow the local guidelines for the disposal of plastic films to ensure the best possible recycling. Silica gel bags should be disposed of with household waste as they are not recyclable. These bags are not suitable for consumption and must be kept out of the reach of children and pets as silica gel can be harmful to health.
