Withdrawal policy - Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day

  • on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the goods, if you ordered one item or several items as part of a single order and the item or items are delivered together;
  • on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the last item, if you ordered several items as part of a single order and the items are delivered separately;
  • on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the last partial delivery or the last piece, if you ordered an item that is delivered in several partial deliveries or pieces.


If more than one of the above alternatives applies, the withdrawal period shall not begin until you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, have or has taken possession of the last item, the last partial delivery or the last piece.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, MEO Vertriebsgesellschaft, Lise-Meitner-Str. 9, D-45699 Herten, Germany, Phone +49 2366 5005-00, Email: [email protected], by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online using the withdrawal function provided on our website: https://www.meo.de/en/module/meoagb/withdrawalForm. If you use this online function, we will immediately send you, on a durable medium, e.g. by email, an acknowledgement of receipt containing information on the content of your withdrawal statement as well as the date and time of its receipt. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification that you are exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value results from handling the goods in a way that was not necessary to examine their nature, characteristics and functioning.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to distance contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of distance contracts for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery, as well as for the supply of goods if, after delivery, these have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature.

Please avoid damage and contamination. Please return the goods, if possible, in their original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, please use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage by using suitable packaging in order to avoid claims for damages due to damage caused by inadequate packaging. Please note that these arrangements are not a prerequisite for effectively exercising your right of withdrawal.
