MEO® – Use of AI

At MEO®, we use artificial intelligence (AI) in a focused and responsible way, always with our customers’ best interests in mind. Our goal is to continuously improve the shopping experience, ease of use, and overall service quality. AI is used in selected areas of our business: for creating, revising, and translating texts; for structuring and optimizing product data; for digital content and communication processes; for the visual preparation and enhancement of image material; and for AI-supported assistance solutions within our shop. This allows us to present information more clearly, provide content more efficiently, and help customers find suitable products and relevant information more quickly.

These assistance solutions also include our digital shop assistant, MEO® Scout. It helps customers find products more easily, access information more quickly, and navigate our assortment more effectively. MEO® Scout is designed to make shopping at MEO® even more convenient, intuitive, and service-oriented.

For MEO®, AI is a modern assistance and efficiency tool that meaningfully supports our work, but does not replace our many years of experience, our expert review, or our quality control. Responsibility for content, decisions, and final approvals always remains with the relevant employees. Our teams receive both internal and external training in the responsible use of AI so that its application remains secure, transparent, and aligned with our quality standards.

At the same time, MEO® is committed to using these technologies in a data-conscious way. Communication with MEO® Scout is anonymized. This is how MEO® ensures that modern digital support and the responsible handling of sensitive data go hand in hand.
