MEO® Dog Coat - Avant-Garde Leather Dog Coat

With this MEO® dog coat from the Pet Collection, avant-garde design meets Italian leather craftsmanship. Supple black genuine leather is combined with a sculptural cut, fine burgundy piping, and discreet MEO® branding. The result is an exceptional dog coat with a clean, confident silhouette that deliberately sets itself apart from conventional dog apparel.

The distinctive high collar defines the characteristic shape of the coat and frames the neck and nape. At the same time, the shoulder area is generously cut to provide the front legs with sufficient freedom of movement. The back is largely covered, while the chest and belly remain flexible thanks to the body-contoured cut and adjustable belly strap.

On the inside, a soft black microfiber textile lining prevents the genuine leather from resting directly against the coat and skin. The lightweight lining reduces friction while preserving the slim, unpadded character of the coat.

The narrow burgundy piping precisely follows the contours of the collar and coat edge, creating a deliberately understated contrast with the deep black leather. The discreet tone-on-tone embossed MEO® logo blends almost seamlessly into the surface. Dark silver-tone metal hardware completes the clean, luxurious design.

The MEO® Pet Collection was created in response to numerous requests from customers who have appreciated the material quality, craftsmanship, and clean design language of MEO® for many years. This exclusive Capsule Collection brings the same standards to exceptional products for dogs. Made in Italy in small batches, the MEO® dog coat combines selected materials, a functional cut, and premium Italian craftsmanship with the characteristically understated aesthetic of MEO®.

Three standard sizes provide options for dogs with different proportions. Size S has a back length of approx. 30 cm (11.81 in), a neck circumference of approx. 27–36 cm (10.63–14.17 in), and a chest circumference of approx. 38–50 cm (14.96–19.69 in). Size M has a back length of approx. 40 cm (15.75 in), a neck circumference of approx. 35–46 cm (13.78–18.11 in), and a chest circumference of approx. 50–66 cm (19.69–25.98 in). Size L, with a back length of approx. 55 cm (21.65 in), a neck circumference of approx. 45–58 cm (17.72–22.83 in), and a chest circumference of approx. 66–84 cm (25.98–33.07 in), is designed for correspondingly larger dogs.

The dog breeds listed below are intended solely as a guideline. The dog’s actual body measurements are decisive when selecting the size. Neck circumference, chest circumference, and back length should be measured with the dog standing. For body measurements outside the standard sizes, the MEO® dog coat can be custom-made upon request. Depending on the version, adjustments to the neck circumference, chest circumference, back length, and belly strap are possible.

The MEO® dog coat is designed primarily for walks in cool, dry weather and for special occasions. Genuine leather is less breathable than conventional performance fabrics. The coat is therefore not intended for high temperatures, intense physical activity, swimming, or prolonged wear in heavy rain.

Surface dirt can be removed with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The coat must not be washed or soaked. After contact with moisture, it must be allowed to dry completely at room temperature. When drying, avoid radiators, direct heat, and intense sunlight. For regular cleaning and care of the genuine leather, beGLOSS® Clean & Care™ is recommended.
